High Heels Short Skirt started at the beginning of 2009 after I came down with some blog envy. A friend had started a professional blog for her PR work. I enjoyed the topics she wrote about and figured I could do the same with my own little quirky style.
I have to admit that there was no focus when it came to this blog when I first started, and that really hasn't changed. At this point, I would say that I write about booze and things that are pretty more than anything.
There are a few things that I would consider are off limits. Mainly I won't be touching on my work life and I don't name names of friends and families. I am sure anyone who knows me for realsies could figure out any references to life events or people, but basically I want to protect the privacy rights of others to the best of my abilities.
