Never was a Dawson Creek-er

But I do love me some Van Der Beek! (Whoa, that rhymes)

Earlier this month James Van Der Memes was launched with the help of a great Funny or Die video. I love that he has acknowledged that he became an internet sensation due to a small scene in Dawson's Creek.

Personally, my favorite is the Eyebrow String Dancer - sadly I don't know how to blog a gif so here's the image...

On a related note, be sure to check out his DILF Khaki ad such a hottie!

ABSolutely worth the $6

Did you know that if you go to the movies at 10:30 am it only costs $6? Well I now know and have every intention of becoming a morning movie patron.

I am not sure if I will ever go to the theaters in the pm now that I know there is such a deal if I compliment with my brunches with some cinema. And seriously, who wouldn't love some abs first thing in the morning?

Yes, in case you can't figure it out I saw Eclipse. I totally recommend it.

Gooooooooooaaaaaaaaaaallllllll!

Soccer is a sport that I will not even pretend I had any interest in 3 weeks ago. Now that the World Cup is here, I have the bug. It is hard not to get excited for a sporting event that occurs once every four years. I mean, who really cares about the Winter Olympics? The US playing the UK in the first week has been hyped up to be THE event. I had to work during the game, but did dvr it. The best part was the following promo:

I just don't get how one can be excited about a game that gets to end in a tie. I have been reassured that this will no longer be allowed as the whole thing progresses into the next section/round.

In case you aren't sure why you should start yelling Gooooooaaaallllll! with the rest of the world, I will give you four easy reasons:

1. Fernando Torres (Spain)

2. Cristiano Ronaldo (Portugal)

3. Carlos Bocanegra (USA)

4. Benny Feilhaber (USA)

Trust me, there are tons more reasons. These were the first four I could think of!

Identifying the New Cute Guy on GREEK

Greek season three started up again a few weeks ago. Casey Cartwright recently volunteered for a local political campaign with the hopes that she would be offered a job as a lobbiest once she graduated from CRU. The CRU alum who was her boss let her know that she was completely under-qualified and if she was serious, she should go to law school. Thus, even though it is well into the second semester of her senior year, she is going after this new goal and plans to enroll in the fall. The alum looked REALLY familiar to me and couldn't put my finger on it.

He was on Shark. Shark was a short lived, thanks writers' strike, law drama centered around the main character, Sebastian Stark, played by James Wood (yay RI!). One of his assistant lawyers was played by the same actor. Thank you channel 9 for randomly having a Shark marathon on this very rainy Sunday.

Aversion

We are not going to discuss how I am completely out of sports to watch until August when pre-season football starts up again.

We are also not going to talk about how Chris Webber can't spell reiterate. Not going to even think about how much money he has and yet could not figure out what came after the "r"....

No, instead we are going to focus on something much more enjoyable.

And that is how much Chris Hemsworth looks like Chris Pine, making the Star Trek movie all that more believable. (Hemsworth plays Pines's father)
