Pandora gets me through the day. Last semester my amazing intern gave me a CD of Girl Talk. Great group. They were to play in the Quad but got shut down...que sera (haha)
But anyways, I made one of my Pandora Channels based on Girl Talk. This song "Que Sera" by Wax Taylor comes on often. I really like it. I youtubed it so that I could post it up here and found the following video. It is awesome. There were long versions, but this one has scenes from Metropolis which is a movie that I had studied in my Film class Senior year of college. The movie was made in 1927. It is a sci-fi movie set in 2026...soon we can see if the screenwriter was accurate! The film is obviously a silent one, but it was full of great visuals.
