The words of The Clash never rang more true...
Today I got a notice from the parking department. Either my appeal never made it in or they decided my story wasn't good enough as I now have $5 fine on top of my ticket along with a date to appear at some hearing. That is not going to work out so well, as I will not be here, I will be on the west coast.
Tomorrow I will call their office and see how best to take care of this matter. I really thought I would win over their hearts with my battery story...oh well.
